The main inspiration was the condensed type on the album cover of the hit song "Tu Vuo Fa L'Americano". Other covers were full of italic typefaces, which is why all characters of this typeface that consist of curves only are slightly slanted, except the letter "a" and "o". As this elegant typeface includes many thicks and thins, it is intended to be used as a display typeface. The aggressive height of the type found on the album cover is reduced in this design, allowing it to be more usable.
