The Illuminated Hearts project merges design and art to encourage Egyptian citizens to be more open-minded about organ donation, a topic considered taboo by many. The campaign's visual identity is heavily inspired by light as a source of hope and happiness, which is reflected in the poster designs and other touchpoints. The Illuminated Hearts organization provides a website inviting Egyptians to learn more about organ donation and participate in it. The same concept is applied in another international market, which is Germany. Adding value and depth to the campaign is the Donor & Receiver sculpture. This project is a conceptual design and has not been implemented in real life.

The Donor & Receiver Sculpture
As the visual language is inspired by light, so is the sculpture. Therefore, the sculpture is made from a transparent material and illuminated from below. It was initially sculpted with plasticine clay, and a mold was created from this model. Transparent polyester was then poured into the mold, achieving the desired effect.
